The Full Story

Cozy Excavation & Contracting LLC is a fully licensed and insured general contractor with over 30 years of experience. From small residential jobs to large-scale commercial projects, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship and dependable service every step of the way.

Cozy began as a landscaping company in Buffalo, New York, where our work eventually led us to a major landscaping contract on the American side of Niagara Falls. From pavers and planting to trees and mulch, we built a reputation for getting the job done right. As the business grew, so did our ambitions, eventually leading us to East Tennessee.

Since then, we've put down roots across the state, taking on projects ranging from building construction and excavation to infrastructure improvements and site development. We bring that same hands-on approach, experience, and commitment to quality to every job we take on.

Now operated by the second generation of the Glessner family, Cozy continues to build on the foundation established by its founder. Cole Glessner, Vice President and Project Manager, and Parker Glessner, Vice President and Estimator, work alongside their father, Allan Glessner, Founder and President, to carry the company forward. Together, they uphold the experience, values, and hard work that have shaped Cozy from the beginning.

With a wide range of in-house capabilities, we work closely with our customers to see projects through from start to finish. Whether we're handling utilities, surveying, concrete, or the many details in between, our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible while maintaining the standards our customers expect.

At Cozy, we believe our work speaks for itself, and we're proud of every project that carries our name. As our mission has always been, both literally and figuratively: "We'll move mountains for you!"
